Huntleys arrived in the final 3 nationally
We have entered the Butcher's Shop of the Year Awards which is renowned as the premier event for the UK farm shop sector. They recognise excellence in craft butchery/retail and winners enter an exclusive group representing the crème de la crème of British butchery/retail. We have been informed this week that we are through to the finals! The award night is November when we will find out if we have won. The competition covers butcher’s/farm shops around the country, with the winner in each region going head to head to see which one is declared the best farm shop in the UK.

Did you know we produce around 16 thousand sausages a week! We worked out that if on average they are all 5 inches long they would reach from Huntley’s to Samlesbury Hall!
Tony Davison (Head butcher) and Kenneth Westell (Butcher) have got 90 years butchery experience between them, so come along and quiz them til your hearts content about any meat you have an interest in, if we don’t have it in stock ask to see if we can source it for you! Be sure to let us know if you manage to catch them out with a brand new question – good luck though – they know their stuff!
We have lots of different lines to offer you from our butchers department! Don’t worry if you are short of time as we have pre-packed some of our fine goods, so you can fly in and fly out again! There is anything from Bacon, chicken, gammon etc!
Please do not hesitate to call us however small or large your order! We are more than happy to take any pre-orders so that your waiting time is kept to a minimum!
