Birds of Prey Static Demonstrations and Junior Raptors Club at Huntley's

The Owl and Bird of Prey Roadshow, based in Darwen Lancashire, now gives regular demonstrations at Huntley's throughout the year.

As well as flying displays (weather permiting) there are oppotunities to meet and even handle (under supervision) some of these magnificent birds.

They also have facilities for injured wild birds of prey with a determination to return them to the wild once they can sustain themselves.

Junior Raptors Club!

• A club for children of 6 years or older with twice monthly meetings at Huntley’s.
• The club will be held on Saturday afternoons from 1pm to 3pm.
• At the club children will learn how to care for owls and birds of prey and how to make leather work for them.
• They will learn how to handle them correctly, play games and do arts and crafts based on birds of prey and owls (eg cards, kites etc)
• There will always be one bird at the club meetings, this is Lucy the Barn Owl and will be the Clubs Mascot!
• Membership is £15 per child for the 1st year, £10 for the second year and following years.
• Mums and Dads are welcome to come along and support the children!
• Drinks and biscuits will be available for children during the meetings at £1 supplement per child.
• The club will be organized by Huntley’s Owl and Bird of Prey Team!
